Colleen’s experience in all aspects of photography is extensive... including action, artistic, commercial, industrial, weddings and portraiture imagery (as well as digital filming).

Third generation Kenyan, Colleen has operated her own Professional Photography and Graphic Design services for over 14 years. She likes to get involved at grass roots and develop projects from concept to launch.

Projects have included 6 months extensively filming & photographing National Parks across Tanzania, photography & journalism for Big Life Foundation (a major contributor in Tanzania & Kenya’s anti poaching efforts), anda wide range of commercial assignments.

Colleen has actively played a role in promoting three major passions across East Africa: conservation, adventure sports and travel through pro-active photo journalism.

She has written a book about her experiences whilst assisting in the rehabilitation of Kenya’s largest black manned lion in the Masai Mara and has spent a major part of her life in the African bush.

Before Professional Photography was a feasible career in Kenya, she managed safari lodges & camps, and held senior positions in both Abercrombie & Kent and Somak Safaris, in Kenya.

Colleen’s enjoys combining photography with her bush skills. She specializes in unique coaching on photographic safaris and accompanying worldwide incentive groups as the executive photographer (www.capturedsafaris.com).
