Colleen’s experience in photography across East Africa is extensive...

... including artistic, commercial and industrial photography as well as digital filming for advertising and DVD presentations.

Third generation Kenyan Colleen  has managed her own Photographic and Graphic Design company for the past 9 years. Colleen provides photographic coverage and documentation, carrying out assignments from conception to the design of specific print/web/digital photo montages.  Last year she completed 6 months extensively filming locations across Tanzania for a safari operator. The commission included creating a story line, editing footage, writing script, adding commentary, sound and all other aspects of producing a commercial DVD for distribution across the USA and Europe.

In addition to her photography and graphics Colleen has produced www.africantravelreview.com dedicated to promoting tourism and adventure travel across East Africa; embracing three major passions, her homeland in East Africa, photography and adventure sports.  The site is now being restructured and will be called In2EastAfrica.  Colleen is also in the process of editing a book she has written about her time with lions in the Masai Mara, Kenya.

Colleen has spent a large part of her life in the African bush, managing safari lodges and camps as well as guiding photographic safaris.  She still enjoys combining this experience with her photography, doing what comes naturally - relief management and photographic/graphic commissions transforming the image of safari businesses.

Colleen is a keen journalist who has contributed articles to several major publications in East Africa, particularly on mountaineering and scuba diving.  Colleen is a registered Padi Rescue Diver and keen mountaineer.
